Introduction of this booklet

Almighty Allah has blessed Pakistan with many natural treasures of wealth by His kindness and special favor. Just think for a while about these natural treasures. What is lacking by nature in our bestowed country?

If someone asks me to tell what is there in this country? I can count on my fingers to tell that what doesn’t exist in our country like;  

• Rivers and clean natural flowing water throughout the year   
• Chanting streams and mullahs filled with water round the year
• The rivers and stream water flows towards an unknown destination from an unknown time to date.
• There are flourishing farms and fields in this country
• Jungles and forest in high-ups’ and mountains of the country
• Expensive and durable timber is available
• Wheat, Rice of export quality, Sugar cane and best quality vegetables are available at reasonable prices throughout the country
• Colorful spices and dairy products
• Animals and feeding grass for these animals
• These animals are source of meat, milk, wool and fur etc
• Unlimited mountains of precious marbles
• Here in our country, there is K-2, Rakaposhi, Nanga Parbat, Mashabroom, Terichmir, Mountain series of Bolan, Thar desert and Cholistan
• Countless coal Treasures are there in our country
• Vast reserves of natural gas
• Four seasons with their unique features glories
• Each season brings a new feeling and passion with
• Most of the sun energy is available in my believe country in comparison to rest of the world
• Ports and harbors are here
• In my country, there is Makran Coast and Coastal highway, Motorway & Unpaved and paved roads
•  Natural air is available in abundance quantity
• There are rugged mountain rich in natural resources in Baluchistan
• Emerald, Ruby Sapphire are found in the mountains of my country.
• There is graphite, granite, lime and limes, tones, Gypsum, Chromium, iron, meta
• The land of my country is well fertile.
• All kinds of fruit trees grow in my country
• My land’s rice is famous all over the world and is suitable for every type of crop
• Best type of rives flow in my country and best quality fish is found in these rivers
• Electricity can be generated in Gigawatts, not in Megawatts by using this 
• Residents of my loved country are Loyal, honorable, dignified, courageous, honest, hard working, industrious, and encouraged
• Residents are well known all over the world due to the hard work and dedication
• ores and steel in mountains of my country.

No serious attempts have been made to uncover the secrets of hidden treasures of my gold spitting land. Educated people become fed up with the poor system compelling them to leave the country. They work hard in their migrated countries. They are rewarded for their hard work and honor.These are all factors,circumstances and facts about which local peoples are made to be realized

• Sense of responsibility and sense of ownership is need to be created among the community and stakeholders
• To use local and natural resources through the best planning of Community organization at the village level and under mutual consultation with stakeholders.
• To create the perception among the community that by formation of active social    organizations at community level, social issues, conflicts and social constraints      be solved through these organizations.
• To introduce the system of reconciliation boards, Jirga system or peace committees by remaining away from civil courts.To solve social conflicts through this voluntary system at local level.

To induce a feeling within local people

• No matter how many problems are in front of them or they are going through many adverse circumstances, if they get to gather in a joint plate form in form of reconciliation, Jirga system, peace committees or masque committees, be united, be active and work to gather for a joint goal and vision or manifesto, they can solve biggest issues. In other words they can make impossible in to possible.
• If they demonstrate solidarity and consensus, they don’t need to meet any Government official regarding their issues rather these officials come to meet the relevant communities.
• These Government officials by themselves approach to such united and active communities and try to solve the social and communal issues through participatory approach.
• The voice raised through this unified platform will have its own significance and importance. This voice will also have power and intensity.
• The greatest thing above all is that any Government institution could not reject this powerful and intensive voice of such a unified and active community having a united plate form.
• The main theme behind this scenario is that this would not be an individual’s voice rather it would be the voice of hundreds of people of well united and well unified who have united for joint struggle to solve their social and communal conflicts by themselves through mutual consent and cooperation with each other.
• These people believe in that where Government institutions become weak by any reason and cannot solve the different issues of its civilians, the role of civil societies becomes very important.
• These civil societies get to gather and form organizations. They set their goals and try to solve their issues by themselves through these organizations.When hundreds of people become united in a single plate form and raise collective voice for a collective goal, then this voice will be heard by Governmental and non-Governmental institutions unavoidably.

                                                           Dialogue with a community

Objective 

The main theme  behind writing of this booklet is to make realize and create an apprehend among the communities living in city areas in general and mountainous and rural areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral in particular about the fact that ordinary common people in spite of Encounter serious difficulties in their daily life have the ability and capacity to bring changes in their lives through the best planning and formation of Community organization at the village level and under mutual consultation with stakeholders. As per ground reality, there are committed and active members exist within ordinary common people.

These active and committed members have the desire to lead other people ahead on the way of development, who really want to bring changes in their lives, as well as change the daily life of other community members.

Social mobilization is very important and un-avoidable to give right direction to social emotions and desires of  of these active members and other stakeholders of the organization about social development.

Whereby community members get to gather in a joint plate form by utilizing and bringing in each other's abilities, to strengthen their collective voice, to manage production of massive objects, equal transaction benefits from acquisitions, to bring transparency in development measures, and management through consultation with stakeholders. Social mobilization is the name of establishing institutions of poor and to make strengthening these institutions.

These private institutions are established at different levels so that it could be easy to communicate with Governmental and non-Governmental institutions through the principle of self-help basis. This mutual communication helps promote good governance and establishment of responsible Government institutions.
